Summary The Manufacturing Engineer must evaluate and understand customer requirements. He or she must also be experienced with common, efficient, programming and machining practices and Geometric dimensions and Tolerances. This combined knowledge will be used to provide guidance and documentation that will lead to improved quality and efficiency.   Responsibilities:
  • Revision Change Control.
  • Manufacturing document review to verify conformance with customer requirements.
  • Design and draw fixtures, work-holding devices and gages as required.
  • Providing technical data and guidance to gain efficient strategies for production.
  • Create working drawings to communicate guidelines for suppliers.
  • Maintain compliance with Collins’ Quality Management System.
  Skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Hands-on CNC machining experience (multi-axis lathes and mills).
  • Mechanical skills related to machining, power tools, hand tools and assembly.
  • Applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
  • Knowledgeable using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • CAD/CAM experience using SolidWorks/FeatureCAM.
   Qualifications
  • 5 years minimum experience programming and machining as a toolmaker or lead machinist.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent experience.

Position Description

Precision Machining contract manufacturer with over 50 CNC machines, including 3/4/5-axis milling, 2-axis & multi-axis turning, Integrex mill/turn and Swiss turning seeks a Manufacturing Estimator to join their growing team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Review and interpret customer blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates, machine throughputs, material cost and subcontract services. • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services and tracking actual costs relative to quote estimates as manufacturing orders are completed. • Obtain quotes from suppliers for materials, components and special process requirements. • Determine manufacturing steps/processes, equipment requirements, programming requirements, setup operations, material, labor, and other items necessary to perform work. • Work with sales, production and quality departments to obtain information to provide accurate quotes and lead times. • Perform production audits to confirm estimates on repeat orders. Education/Qualifications: • 4-year Degree preferred • Experience as a CNC Engineer, Estimator and / or Machinist highly desirable. • Extensive knowledge of 3, 4 and 5 axis milling machines • Knowledge of outside processes such as heat treating and plating • Experience using an MRP or ERP system • Experience with Excel and general Microsoft Office computer skills • Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team Compensation based on experience Type: Full-time

Precision, contract machining business is looking for an experienced Assembler. Job responsibilities:  Highly repetitive, simple short cycle mechanical assembly following prescribed routing or where method of assembly is obvious.  Work is typically performed at a bench and may include standing or walking. Light painting in a filtered paint booth is also a daily activity. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •          Removing and installing common hardware and fasteners.
  •          Light painting.
  •          Reading routers, blueprints, and work instructions to identify components and specifications that are necessary for assembly conformance.
  •         Inspection of products before, during and after assembly processes.
  •          Identify and document product defects.
  •         Recording time and quantity for job tracking.
  •          Maintain inventory of product / hardware in workstation.
  •          Maintaining a neat and orderly workspace.
  SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
  •          Dependable.
  •          Mechanically inclined.
  •          Great attention to detail.
  •          Experience reading blueprints and following written instructions.
  •          Experience using common hand and power tools and operating fastener installation machines.

OVERALL DUTIES: Precision CNC Manufacturer seeking experienced Quality Control Inspector. The QC Inspector is responsible for inspection of incoming materials, in-process inspections of product and ensures tight tolerance machined parts meet the specifications of the drawings and the parts meet customer's quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Programming and PCDMIS experience required - Working knowledge of GD&T concepts - Experience utilizing precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparator, etc. - Follow standardized procedures and instructions for in process and final inspections across a wide variety of customized parts with very close tolerances and specifications. - Maintain records of results and prepare required Quality Control forms. - Ability to analyze and resolve process issues from basic to very complex. - Optimize CMM run-time to ensure daily goals and production targets. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS - High degree of mechanical and mathematical inspection knowledge - Minimum 5+ years' experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment - Work schedule Monday thru Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm. Precision, contract machining business is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to work in the Milling Department. Preferably experienced with HAAS machines. The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC machinery to produce precision components while maintaining quality standards in a fast paced environment.
